This rarely grown “pink bourbon” varietal has a uniquely sweet, strawberry-kiwi, sugar cookie with a hint-of-something-grilled taste. It was grown by a tiny cooperative that is trying to do its own (laborious) green coffee processing, instead of outsourcing the work to large processing centers who can take less care. That way, the farmers can get a higher price for their coffee.
