Indian Monsoon Malabar Medium Golden Roast

This soothing li’l roast is hard to describe because it’s literally one of a kind. Made from Indian Monsoon Malabar, the world’s least acidic beans, this coffee is roasted to a golden brown, ever so slightly spicy brew (think whiff of cardamom) that’s easy on the tummy. Tea drinkers might also appreciate this coffee. What’s monsoon coffee? Beans from Malabar, India, old port of trade, that are harvested and left on covered patios to wet (rather than to dry!) in humid monsoon air. The saturation removes their bite and enhances earthy flavors. This process replicates what happened to coffee beans carried in ship cellars for months on their way from India to Europe.
